10/7/2019 - Casa del Cinema still splendid screenings on October 12th and 13th
The film schedule continues at the Casa del Cinema with rare films shot in Taormina: on Saturday, October 12 at 4:00 p.m. the programming re-enacts "The Adventure" of Michelangelo Antonioni, with Monica Vitti, Gabriele Ferzetti, Gabriele Ricci and Lea Massari to follow at 6:00 p.m. "Private Visions" by Francesco Calogero with Jessica Forde, Patrick Bauchau, Ninni Bruschetta Antonio Caldarella, Antonio Alveario, Donald Ranvaud, Maurizio Puglisi, Lella Costa, Tatti Sanguineti, Roberto De Francesco, Maurizio Marchetti, Mario Venuti and with the Cyd Charisse's extraordinary participation. On Sunday, October 13 at 4:00 p.m. is the turn of Diego Ronsisvalle's A Love of Gide with Olivia Magnani, Gigi Angelillo, Guido Caprino, Alessandro Haber, Mariano Rigillo and Nicola Di Pinto. Following are two exclusive films "Made in Italy" (episode "The Woman" by Nanny Loy, a documentary of 1965 with Virna Lisi and "The Call of Blood" (L'appel du sang) by Louis Mercanton, the first film shot in Taormina, with Charles Le Bargy, Ivor Novello, Phyllis Neilson Terry, Desdemona Mazza and Salvatore Lo Turco. For The Sicily of Italian cinema filmmakers, a section dedicated mainly to foreign tourists in Taormina, after the success of The Leopard by Luchino Visconti, on Friday, October 11 at 4:00 p.m. Divorce Italian Style by Pietro Germi.
